Solid glass cake stand designed for and produced by Svenskt Tenn.

My inspiration for this piece was the term 'Exotic' and its relationship with an individual's life experiences and perspective. I have steered away from the classic cake stand silhouette with its thin stem and foot, and instead created a heavy and monumental object that commands attention regardless of what is placed on it.

Launched as a part of Svenskt Tenn's exhibition Närodlad Design.
